Desktop applications of the TixGear platform are implemented in Java and run on the operating systems of the Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Solaris families.
Editor is intended for creating events and adding all the information necessary for ticket sales into the central database of TixGear platform.

JAVA RUNTIME ENVIRONMENT (JRE)
Java applications need Java Runtime Environment (JRE).
When JRE is installed, files with the extension ".jar" run as regular executables.

TixGear widgets are necessary to sell tickets. Most often, when creating a website, a link to the widget is set to the "Buy Tickets" button.
After clicking this button, the ticket buyer is redirected to the widget, where the selection of seats and payment for tickets are implemented.
